This week we are studying Cell division for repair, growth and reproduction.
Monday: Lecture and animations for mitosis. Student make a notes booklet
Tuesday: Students make models of mitosis and meiosis and write a skit
Wednesday: Onion Root Tip Microscopy lab
Thursday: Cloning Research in library
Friday: Presentations and quiz.
Be sure to check online for review materials (powerpoints).

Grades start from scratch this week.

Monday and Tuesday we are doing a webquest on the Rise and Fall of the Mammoth as an introduction to evolution.
Wednesday we will do an inquiry lab into natural selection.
Thursday we will do an inquiry lab into Darwin's Finches.
Friday we will study scientific notation and the scale of the universe.
